Adolescence is a time of tremendous growth, change, and discovery — but it can also bring feelings of confusion, pressure, and uncertainty. I work with teens and young adults who are managing anxiety, depression, ADHD, Autism, stress, and life transitions, helping them build self-awareness, confidence, and healthy coping strategies. I also support parents in understanding and responding effectively to their teens’ emotional and behavioural needs, offering practical tools for communication and connection at home.
Before becoming a counsellor, I spent over two decades as a French immersion teacher, which gave me valuable insight into the academic, social, and emotional challenges that young people face. This background continues to shape my approach — combining empathy, patience, and structure to help each client feel supported and capable of growth.
My style is person-centered, grounded in the belief that each individual is the expert in their own life. I strive to create a supportive and collaborative environment built on mutual respect where clients can explore their experiences, build on their strengths, and develop practical strategies to support growth and well-being using a variety of therapeutic modalities, tailoring our sessions to your specific needs and goals.
Chick Counselling Services provides a space where both teens and parents feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward with greater confidence and connection.
